James Taranto at Best of the Web Today links to a disturbing abortion story.  Basically a women goes to an abortion clinic in Miami to get an abortion.  The women was 23-weeks pregnant and was given some drugs in preparation for the procedure.  While waiting for the doctor to arrive the women gives birth.  The owner of the clinic cuts the umbilical cord, puts the baby into a biohazard bag and throws it in the trash. 

Chances are a baby born this earlier would not have survived even in a hospital, but to throw the dead baby in the trash isincomprehensible.  This is why any person with any semblance of compassion should oppose abortion.  There are people like this abortion clinic owner who are so conditioned by the “pro-choice” rhetoric that any baby not carried to full-term is not really a human being but just a piece of trash. 

The article said the cause of death was “extreme prematurity” yet the autopsy did reveal air in the lungs which indicate the baby was born alive.  Lets hope the D.A. in Miami files crimminal charges against this owner and the clinic.  More importantly lets hope this story gets more publicity about the horrors of abortion.  Though I am sure there will be many “pro-choice” people who will defend the action’s of this clinic because to do otherwise would further weaken their argument.
